The Juniper Cag is a fully loaded 2.5-layer touring jacket . This Jacket is perfect for paddles enjoying lake‚ river or the open seas, through wind‚ rain and spray. The Juniper is light enough to pack away small‚ but offers the needed protection when the weather rolls in. Featuring Gul's proprietary waterproof and breathable *GCX2.5 Evo fabric. The Juniper jacket is constructed from a tough Nylon outer layer with a DWR coating the 1.5L inner membrane working in tandem to wick away interior moisture. The Juniper has a dual adjustable neoprene outer skirt, a YKK AquaGuard zippered pockets, factory seam sealed 3L taped, the 4 way adjustable hood with asymmetric chin zip will keep the wind and rain out‚ whilst an internal velcro neck closure and UK made latex wrist gaskets stop the spray getting in. Technologically advanced, this dry cag is designed to withstand wet, cold and windy conditions, keeping you warm and dry for longer.
*GCX2.5 is specifically engineered to prevent water penetration, allowing perspiration moisture to evaporate. Waterproof - 10,000 mm, Breathability- 5000 gr/m2/24h. The fabric has a Hydrophobic Microporous Coating which is a waterproof breathable barrier applied to the face of the fabric allowing moisture vapour to evaporate. It also features D-Matrix - a distinctive raised print applied to the hydrophobic coating to decrease surface wear and increase moisture wicking.
